Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Shortlist (“we”), reachable at hello@shortlist.social. By creating an account or using shortlist.social you agree to them.
Who can use Shortlist
You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
Your account
- Keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Don't pretend to be someone else or create accounts to get around a suspension.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings. That removes your lists, comments and photos.
Your content
You own the lists, notes, photos and comments you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce and share them as needed to run Shortlist: for example, showing your public lists to others, making share images, and letting people remix public lists. This license ends when you delete the content, except for copies others already remixed or that remain in backups for a limited time.
Only post things you have the right to post. When you add a link, we may fetch a preview of that page and keep a copy of its picture so the list keeps working.
Rules
Follow the community guidelines. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break them, or where the law requires it. You can report anything with the Report button.
Copyright
If you believe something on Shortlist infringes your copyright, email hello@shortlist.social with the link, the work you own, and your contact details. We'll remove infringing material and may suspend repeat infringers.
Links and shopping
Lists link to other websites and shops. We don't sell those products and aren't responsible for other sites, prices or purchases you make there. Prices shown may be out of date.
The service
Shortlist is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or stop features. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Changes
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll tell you on the site before the changes apply.
